We hate to say we told you so but…
Ms. Kerby and I often tell stories of our past choir journeys abroad. We tell our students and parents that when we take the choir touring in Europe there will be a packed house and we will receive a standing ovation. I suppose it is hard to believe. I mean, why would a foreign audience want to hear a high school choir from Palo Alto? And not to say that we don’t have lovely supportive audiences in Palo Alto, but perhaps there is just so much to do or so much good music or……To be honest, I always think we should have a packed house and there should be a standing ovation.
We told you so!
Tonight’s concert at the basilica was given to a packed house and received with a standing ovation! Congratulations to our wonderful students who gave a beautiful performance tonight!
